Outdoor Heaters - What You Need to Ask?

Outdoor Heaters – What You Need to Know!

Gas or Electric Outdoor heaters – Which should I choose?

When it comes to outdoor heating, aesthetically, electric heaters are more pleasing to the eye, they are inconspicuous and radiate a warming, convection heat that dispersers further than gas.

They are very easy to operate, simply flick the switch and operation begins.  No guessing as to when the gas bottle is going to run out.

Electric heaters are easy to maintain, are lightweight and easy to install.

Can I use a gas heater inside?

No.  This is incredibly dangerous and should never be considered.  Electric heating is the only option in an enclosed area but also a very desirable choice for outside dining as well.

What is more economical, gas or electric outdoor heating?

Electric is a much better option.  Electric heating doesn’t have nearly the amount of moving parts as gas.  You also need to consider the ignition parts, gas specific valves and burners that gas heating requires.  The parts all need maintenance and repair at some stage, all of which add up to an ongoing consumer cost.  Also, the cost of changing the gas bottle continuously is not applicable.

Is electric heating safer than gas heating?

Electric heating can be mounted on a wall or higher up near ceiling level.  This will stop any chance of someone burning their clothes or body.  This is a major consideration if children are around.  Electric is also safer than gas as there is no possibility of any leaks which could lead to explosion and or fire.  There are no fumes or smells emitted from an electric heater.

Is outdoor heating environmentally friendly?

Electric outdoor heaters are very environmentally friendly.  They do not emit any gases, odours or greenhouse gases.

Their products and packaging are 100% recyclable.

They offer many different sizes so product and space are not wasted with units that are too big for the designated area.
